Gypsy Dave and the Stump Jumpers

"Folks round here tell strange tales to travelers comin' through town. They talk of mooonless nights when all that can be heard echoing through the hills are the eerie sounds of washboard and kazoo. They talk of walking down dark alleys and seeing the all-too-familiar flash of shiny red shoes, or an old man hat, peering through the gloom. They recount, in hushed whispers, the days when people weren't afraid to go outside, the days when families could walk down the streets of Meadville without hearing the haunting melodies of the Stumpjumpers coming from a forlorn market house. They say the Gypsy can steal your very soul with a single banjo blast. They say that ol' Sissy Blackfoot's fiddle can cast a spell on unwary folks long enough for them to get ambushed by an army of crawly critters. Some say that when that Lester McChester gets into one of his fits, a pluck of that haunted bass will send some poor soul through the nearest conveniently placed brick wall."  Check them out at www.thestumpjumpers.com/
